Pascal Smelik

Pascal Smelik is a Dutch artist and designer whose work explores the relationship between perception, emotion, and time. Working with light, reflection, and transparent materials such as glass and acrylic, he creates layered compositions that shift with the viewer’s position and the surrounding space.

His practice moves between art, design, and research, balancing technical precision with an intuitive approach. Based in Zeist, Smelik has presented his work in both autonomous and applied contexts, nationally and internationally.
